Founded in 2017, the Cornell Blockchain Club is dedicated to enhancing awareness of Web3 and promoting practical applications of blockchain technology. We provide Cornell University students with a robust educational framework, including our for-credit course, CS1998: Introduction to Blockchain, which has successfully educated over 300 undergraduates on the core principles of blockchain and advanced topics like DEXs and NFTs. Additionally, we are launching CS-4998, a development course focused on the Solidity smart contract language and essential tools for blockchain development. Our initiatives extend beyond the classroom; we have partnered with the Joe and Clara Tsai Foundation to host a transformative Blockchain Bootcamp for high school students in Brooklyn, equipping them with the knowledge to innovate in this field. The Cornell Blockchain Club also organizes an annual conference that brings together leaders from academia, industry, and the Web3 community to discuss the societal impact of blockchain. Join us to collaborate on projects, participate in our accelerator program, and prepare for exciting careers in blockchain technology.
